Sharpen your Soccer Skills for the Season at a Free Saturday Clinic

This Saturday, June 26th, the Stinger Coaching Staff will be hosting another Free Soccer Clinic open to the public.  The Clinic is slated to run from 9:00 to 11:00am and will be held at the Hermoso Park, soccer field. (20th street/Southern avenue)

Get a leg up on the competition for the fall season with the Soccer specific strength and agility training and skills development clinic put on by the same coaches running the Champion Schools Fall League teams.  This is a great time for new students to meet the staff and students of the Stinger community.

Athlete of the Week: Lorenzo Sepulveda

May 17th – May 21st

Name: Lorenzo Sepulveda

Team: Varsity Soccer

Achievement

At the end of the season Lorenzo was able to play any position.  He gave 100% on the field.  In our playoff loss last week, Lorenzo’s effort was remarkable.  It didn’t matter if we were losing or winning.  Lorenzo’s effort was always at full force.  He inspired his teammates to go hard. – Coach Remond

Additional congratulations is due to Lorenzo for becoming the only two-time Athlete of the Week Award Winner of 2010 with selections during both the Varsity Basketball and Soccer seasons!  His achievements are testament to his work ethic, discipline and commitment to improving his game!
