Also on Friday, El Dia de los Niños (Children’s Day) Festival at Margaret T. Hance Park
Three Weeks Left Before The Science Fair
It is time for the Science Fair! This is a great opportunity for students to get involved in Science and conduct experiments that really interest one another. Each student will be required to complete a project. Our Science Fair will be held on Friday, May 6th, 2011.
For the Science Fair, students are required to do a test, survey or experiment. This means that they will be conducting an experiment instead of only doing research. While research is a part of the project, it is not the entire project. Remember students need to be testing a variable and not just remaking a project with a known outcome. It is strongly encouraged that students pick a topic that they are interested in as they will be working on this for the next month. All projects need to be approved by the Science Teacher, Mr. Gus. Projects involving humans, animals or hazardous chemicals will need additional approval.
